Style or Conservatism

Updated: Nov 4, 2018

All right fellas, recently (more than the usual), I’ve received some notions about my conservative lifestyle or clothing styles of choice rather. I’ve never had any major issues or major negative feedback on my style however; some have had prudence when informing me of how much is shows. The question in the now is, does your style speak volume with regards to how conservative or even reserved you maybe? Well, the answer is both yes and no. Remember, conservatism is the unforthcoming act to change whilst reserved is a much slower process to reveal. For example, someone who always dresses in the form of styling tops with matching color shoes maybe seen as conservative. They may not have an is a much slower process to reveal. For example, someone who always dresses in the form of styling tops with matching color shoes maybe seem as conservative. They may not have any reservations to switch things up. Now, someone who for the most part styles themselves in a particular way but chooses to be edgy once in a while maybe seen as reserved. Unfortunately for me, this is where both my yes and no shows it’s truth. To help with your visuals, when at work or in session with certain business meetings, I tend to always wear black. I might throw on a white shirt here and there, but dressed up in black is my go to. This got me thinking, am I too conservative? Is that even possible? How many of you are in relation to this? How about the bigger question. Is there something wrong with me? The answer is no. I love my style and so should you love yours. Now, by choice I’ve started to add that Pop of color to business meetings and have also made more edgy apparel choices in my personal life, which have brought out the more reserved me. Remember, clothes do not define you which is where the "no" comes in but, your choice of style can enhance the real you which is where that "yes" comes in.
